My heavy ebike has a left thumb throttle I use to get underway from a stop, and it’s fine for that. I think we’d be better off layering in training/licensing for faster e-mopeds, but I’d also be curious about the safety numbers for the 50cc IC scooters you don’t need that for today.— toot
